LitPet at Bark in the Park Marylebone with YapYap Dog

LitPet at Bark in the Park Marylebone with YapYap Dog

There are some events that feel as though they were designed entirely around dogs, and honestly, we are all for it.

On Sunday 14 June, LitPet joined YapYap Dog at Bark in the Park in Marylebone, a dog-focused celebration held as part of the Marylebone Summer Festival. Set in St. Marylebone Church Gardens, the event brought together dogs of every shape, size and personality, along with the people who quite rightly plan their weekends around them.

It was busy, warm, friendly and full of the kind of small moments that make dog events so lovely. Dogs stopping for photos. Owners comparing notes on food, behaviour, routines and sensitive stomachs. Puppies taking it all in. Older dogs moving at their own pace. A few very confident characters who clearly knew the day was about them.

Which, to be fair, it was.

A day for London’s dog community

Bark in the Park has quickly become a favourite for dog lovers in the capital, and it is easy to see why.

The event had that brilliant mix of fun and usefulness. There were activities, competitions, dog-friendly treats, workshops, photo opportunities and plenty of chances for owners to discover brands and services created with pets in mind.

For LitPet, it was a lovely opportunity to meet dog owners face to face and talk about what everyday pet wellbeing actually looks like in real life.

Because when you speak to owners in person, the conversations are rarely abstract.

They are about the dog who gets anxious when the routine changes. The Labrador with the sensitive stomach. The rescue dog who finds busy places overwhelming. The spaniel who has endless energy until suddenly they do not. The older dog who needs a little more support than they used to.

These are the everyday stories behind pet wellness, and they are exactly why LitPet exists.

Pawtinis, lollipops and plenty of wagging tails

Of course, no summer dog event would be complete without a few treats.

At the LitPet stand, we were gifting Pawtinis, our alcohol-free cocktails for dogs, which went down exactly as well as you might imagine. A dog-friendly drink, a sunny Marylebone afternoon and a crowd of very enthusiastic taste-testers made for a pretty perfect combination.

We also handed out dog-friendly lollipops, along with LitPet tennis balls and frisbees for dogs who prefer their gifts with a bit more bounce.

It gave the stand a really fun, relaxed feel, and it was lovely watching dogs enjoy the moment while their owners had the chance to chat to us properly. Because while LitPet is a wellness brand, we never want pet care to feel clinical or complicated. It should feel thoughtful, useful and part of real life.

Sometimes that means a conversation about digestion, calm or daily support.

Sometimes it means a dog proudly leaving with a tennis ball.

Both matter.

Why events like this matter

Online, pet wellness can sometimes feel complicated.

There are lots of claims, lots of ingredients, lots of products and lots of advice. For owners, it can be hard to know what is genuinely useful and what is just clever packaging.

Events like Bark in the Park make things more human.

They give people the chance to ask questions, talk about their pets properly and understand the thinking behind a brand. They also remind us that pet wellbeing is not just about one product or one problem. It is about the whole animal.

How they eat.
How they sleep.
How they handle stress.
How they digest food.
How they recover from busy days.
How they cope when life changes.

That whole-pet view is central to LitPet.

Our formulas are inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine and modern pet wellness, with ingredients chosen for a genuine role within each product. The aim is to support pets from the inside out, whether that is through digestive wellbeing, calm, immune support or everyday resilience.

Talking calm, digestion and summer routines

With Bark in the Park taking place in June, summer wellbeing was naturally part of the conversation.

Warm weather can be lovely for dogs, but it can also disrupt their usual routines. There may be more travel, more visitors, more outdoor eating, more excitement and more time in unfamiliar environments.

For some dogs, that shows up as digestive upset. For others, it looks more like restlessness, nervous energy or struggling to settle after a busy day.

That is why we spoke to owners about simple, realistic support: keeping food routines consistent, avoiding rich scraps, offering plenty of water, creating calm rest time after big days out, and using natural supplements as part of a steady daily routine.

LitPet products are designed to fit into that kind of everyday care. Not as a replacement for veterinary advice, and not as a quick fix, but as thoughtful support for pets who need a little extra help staying balanced.

Working with YapYap Dog

Being there with YapYap Dog made the day even more special.

YapYap has built a brilliant community for London dog owners, and Bark in the Park captured that spirit perfectly. It was welcoming, stylish, full of energy and clearly created by people who understand how much dogs mean to their families.

For LitPet, it felt like the right setting to introduce more owners to our approach. We are not interested in overcomplicating pet wellness or making owners feel they are not doing enough. Most pet owners are already trying incredibly hard.

Our role is to make natural support feel more thoughtful, more accessible and more rooted in real life.

Our favourite part of the day

The best part of the event was simple: meeting the dogs.

The confident ones. The shy ones. The tiny ones being carried through the crowd. The big ones leaning against their owners. The ones politely accepting attention. The ones absolutely convinced every stand had been set up purely for snacks.

But almost as lovely was speaking to the people who love them.

Dog owners notice everything. The change in appetite. The odd tummy day. The slight shift in mood. The way their dog reacts to travel, noise, guests or heat. Those details matter, because they often tell us how a dog is really feeling.

That is the heart of LitPet: helping owners support the pets they know so well.

Thank you, Marylebone

A huge thank you to YapYap Dog, Marylebone Summer Festival and everyone who stopped to speak to us at Bark in the Park.

It was a joy to be part of such a warm, dog-loving day in the heart of London.

If you met us at the event, we hope you left with a better sense of what LitPet is about: natural pet supplements with real thought behind them, created to support dogs and cats through everyday life.

And if your dog enjoyed their Pawtini, lollipop, tennis ball or frisbee, we hope they also enjoyed a very well-earned nap afterwards.
